*New tour and house improvement*

Historic Oakleigh House will temporarily close November 9, 2014 -January 12, 2015 to make improvements to the house, complete the Cook's House restoration and to update the tour dialogue. The new tour will focus on Oakleigh's families and tell an in-depth, research-based story on the history of Mobile within the context of their lives. The project will take 2-3 years and during this closure, phase one will be complete. Stay tuned for updates as we begin our improvements in just over a week!

Please visit our new collections blog, highlighting the artifacts in the Historic Oakleigh Collection. Each month, our collections staff will offer a behind the scenes look into the research and conservation methods conducted in our historic home.
